Linking New Haven with community resources
We help people facing homelessness by making resource guides for social workers and running resource desks across New Haven, where volunteers sit down with neighbors and connect them to food, housing, health, and legal support.
People facing or experiencing homelessness need help, but accessing resources is hard.
We try to close the gap by helping in two main ways:
Curated Resource Guides
Volunteers create clear, up-to-date, free directories of food, housing, healthcare, legal services, and more that help social workers navigate resources for their clients.
Resource Desks
We prepare our own volunteers to listen well, understand local systems, and connect people to the right support. Then, volunteers staff Link New Haven resource desks around the city, helping people in-person and pointing them to basic needs, resource hubs, and next steps.
Let’s link New Haven together.
